What is WGSSA?

 The purpose of Lakehead University's Women's and Gender Studies Students' Association (WGSSA) is to provide and promote a safe and welcoming space for the students majoring, minoring, and otherwise interested in the Women's Studies program. We seek to build bridges between the undergraduate and graduate programs, as well as with professors. We are an inclusive, inviting, intersectional group, and all students are welcome to the WGSSA, regardless of their race, ability, sex, gender identity, socio-economic class, sexual orientation, religion, etc.​
